The Royal Conservatory Music Development Program (Music Development Program) provides a recognized national standard of musical success through an effectively sequenced course of study from beginner to advanced levels.

The Music Development Program inspires excellence through individual student assessments and allows students to celebrate accomplishment and track their progress with others across the country. It also supports teachers with high-quality and innovative resources.

Since 2011, the Fox River Academy has been a Founding School and an official National Testing Center for the Royal Conservatory, with performance and theory assessments taking place on-campus at our main facility. Testing (for both Theory and Practical/Performance) take place every six months in Spring and Fall sessions. Fox River Academy also has several teachers on staff who are registered RCMDP instructors and are comfortable with preparing students for testing within the program.

For more information about participating in the Music Development Program, please contact the Fox River Academy, or visit the RCMDP’s official website at http://www.musicdevelopmentprogram.org.
